Ziton’s WIND SERVER Completes 527th Major Offshore Wind Component Replacement
For the past six months Ziton’s WIND SERVER has been working on four different sites on the south east coast of the UK to replace major components – including gearboxes, generators, transformers, main bearings, main shafts and drivetrains.

For now, she has concluded the work in the area with 31 successful replacements, bringing her total to 527 major component replacements, recently with the majority being full-service solutions.

This means she is the second most experienced O&M vessel in the industry, just after the first dedicated O&M vessel, Ziton’s WIND, which had a last reported total of more than 560 interventions!

WIND SERVER was built by Nordic Yards in Rostock for ZITON and was completed in 2014. She is the only jack-up vessel purposely built for the O&M market in offshore wind.
