Wiesbauer Unloading 350t Generator from Barge on to SPMTs – Gallery

In late June this year Wiesbauer was in Freiberg am Neckar with their DEMAG CC3800 caterpillar crane to unload a generator weighing approximately 350t from an inland water way vessel onto SPMTs waiting on the quayside.

The special feature of this operation was that the caterpillar crane could not remain on the site for long and therefore the time for assembly and dismantling was limited.

As a result, the crane had to be set up overnight in record time in shift operation and then dismantled again after use.
