On course for growth: Terex tower cranes erect EU’s tallest building

On the weekend of June 23rd to 25th, 2023, Wiesbauer’s Terex AC700 was in Böblingen to lift 14 bridge girders for the new motorway overpass over the A81.
The A81 was closed for use from Friday evening to Sunday and they lifted the beams in shifts. The first part in the night from Friday to Saturday and the second part on Saturday afternoon.
The crane was equipped with 160.0 tons. Ballast and 36.0 m lattice luffing jib to accommodate the up to 50.0 t. to lift heavy bridge girders.
The operation went smoothly and to the complete satisfaction of everyone involved.
