Video – OOS Serooskerke’s First Crane Assembled and Tested at Huisman Zhangzhou
The first of two 2200t Offshore Mast Crane (OMC) which is 5.8 metres “Active Heave Compensated” at 3000 meters water depth, was successfully assembled and tested at the Huisman shipyard in Zhangzhou in February, after which it was shipped to the CMHI shipyard in Haimen, where it will installed on OOS Serooskerke this month.
The second 2200t OMC is currently being commissioned in Zhangzhou and is scheduled to be shipped to Haimen on April 25th.
The pedestal of the 60t Service Crane has already been installed, whilst the pedestal of the 36t Service Crane is currently being installed. Installation of all cranes is expected to be complete within the next 12 weeks.
