Video – Collett moving 3 Super Grid Transformers in 4 weeks
Last year Heavy Lift transport specialists, Collett and Sons Ltd, carried our 3 Super Grid Transformer transports for the National Grid in the UK. two of them in the North West of England from Ellesmere Port to Cellerhead and Willenhall Transformer Stations and the third from Portsmouth Harbour on the South coast of England to Lovedean Transformer Station.
A total of 509t transported over almost 278km (173 miles) in 4 weeks.
