Van Oord’s CFO to Leave in August
Van Oord have announced this morning that Jolanda Poots-Bijl, their CFO since 2016, has informed them that she will leave the company as per August 1st.
She will continue her career at Ahold Delhaize, where she will be nominated by the Supervisory Board as member of the Management Board. Following shareholder approval she will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Pieter van Oord, CEO added, ‘The Executive Committee regrets to see Jolanda leave but we are also proud of her next step. She has had a positive impact on our company. She has professionalised our finance and control functions and played a major role in our new strategy, Building the Future Together. On top of this, she has shown a great passion for sustainability. We wish her all the success in her new role.’
Chairman of the Supervisory Board Niek Hoek said, ‘It has been a pleasure working with Jolanda as CFO of Van Oord. She has built up a valued relation with the Supervisory Board and contributed to the success of Van Oord.’
