Van der Vlist Take Delivery of their New Liebherr LHM550 at Moerdijk
After a journey by RoRo ship from Rostock, Van der Vlist’s new Liebherr LHM550 has arrived at the port of Moerdijk.
When unloaded from the vessel, this mobile port crane made its way to their facility at the Middenwegkade, where, it will remain operational until the new terminal is ready.
The first lifting operation took place two weeks ago, and the new LHM550 did a wonderful job!
With an outreach of 54m, the LHM 550 is the perfect crane for handling bulk cargoes, general cargoes and heavy-duty lifting up to 154t, all of which make this the ideal crane for Van der Vlist at Moerdijk.
The only thing that’s left to do, is to transform this new port crane into the signature Van der Vlist colours.
Maximum lifting capacity : 154t
Jib length: 54m
Total weight: 439t
Hoisting / lowering max: 120m/minute
