Date 29 November 2018
Due to the overall size and to keep costs to a minimum, the excavator was dismantled for transport. The biggest part, being 40 tonne and 350cm wide, was transported by road on a low loader then shipped unaccompanied on a vessel between Dutch and Norwegian ports. The last leg of the journey was then undertaken by road on a low loader.
The ancillary parts were transported by road on 4 x platform and semi low loaders. The excavator was then assembled at the delivery location.
