The two projects, Cluaran Deas Ear being (Numbered 6 on above map) a 1 GW fixed foundation project located about 44 km to the east of Aberdeen in the Moray Firth and Cluaran Ear-Thuath (Numbered 7 on above map) being a 1 GW floating foundation project located about 35 km to the east of the Orkney Islands, present clear development synergies in view of best utilising the partners’ capabilities.
TWP is looking forward to further engaging with government authorities, fellow developers, communities and businesses to fully understand local capabilities and define ways to work together, with a particular focus on breaking down barriers to new entrants to the job market, creating new skilled and energy transition jobs, and ensuring through investment that Scottish ports are ready and in the best position to seize an offshore wind pipeline of opportunities.”
