Installing onshore wind turbines in mountainous areas can be a logistical challenge. Transporting these vulnerable components requires a multidisciplinary preparation. TWD’s lifting-, structural- and marine engineers work together to develop the most suitable methods and related installation equipment. Recently, TWD’s engineers gladly assisted Anipsotiki with the required marine analyses to assure a flawless transport of these Vestas components to the Greek island of Evia.
