Transport of a Cat 990 by Van der Vlist

Last week, 42/2020, Van der Vlist executed the transport of a Cat 990K, commissioned by NMT shipping.

After thorough planning, in cooperation with Van der Vlist Poland, the machine made the long journey from Poland to Antwerp. In the harbour, our technical staff were all geared up for the assembly of the body, cabin, rock protectors, stairway and bucket. The weight of a Cat 990K with cab and bucket is 81t.

From there, the machine is now being shipped to Jeddah by NMT shipping.
