TWD has designed transport and installation equipment for Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) components for over 20 offshore wind farms. We have worked on designs for tower seafastenings but also blade racks for several WTG suppliers.
We aim to provide flexibility and adaptability of seafastening equipment so it can be used in multiple projects having different kinds of turbines. Our experience has made us well aware of the challenges that have to be solved when handling WTG components.
Our seafastening designs focus – besides the obvious structural integrity of deck and cargo – on fast mobilization, minimal welding and easy usage offshore.
