Solidd Steel Structures, Takke Breukelen and Delft Infra Composites (DIC) are joining forces to respond efficiently, flexibly and decisively in tomorrow’s changing infrastructure sector . The three brands, each with their own specific expertise, will continue together in the umbrella group TO GET THERE.

By combining heavy steel structures (Solidd) with lighter structures and composite solutions (Takke and DIC), the three companies in the group will offer significant added value to clients. All three companies are growing, have strong order portfolios and see ample opportunities to build a bridge to the future together. Not only in the field of infrastructure, also including the offshore renewable industry.

Jan Willem Stob, general manager of TO GET THERE: ‘Together we are ready for the future. Solidd, Takke and DIC will continue as 100% sister companies in TO GET THERE. The individual brand names will continue to exist and continue their activities in their existing BVs within the group, with Jan Willem Stob as general manager and as co-shareholder with Andries Takke. Geert Takke is proud of this development and has chosen to retire.

Andries Takke is also convinced of the added value of merging into the new group. ‘Against the background of the replacement task, it is a clear story: with the eighth generation of Takke Breukelen, the composite technical knowledge from DIC and the steel construction expertise from Solidd, one plus one simply equals five.
