Time Lapse Video Rambiz at KNM Helge Ingstad Salvage location

The Royal Norwegian Navy has released a time lapse video of the work being carried out on the salvage of the KNM Helge Ingstad last week.

Follow this link to see the Rambiz arriving on location on Sunday 27 January. The weather has not allowed continual work with the Rambiz last week. The crane vessel spent mush of last week along side the Gulliver in Hanoytangen (photograph above).

Today, Monday 4 January the Rambiz has returned to the location in the morning to perform remaining work on one of the groups with lifting chains. The Navy reports that the weather has been good through the weekend and progression in the work has been good, but the weather forecasts for the week ahead are again somewhat fluctuating.
