The outstanding San Juan De Marcona Wind Farm wind energy project started in April 2022. Consisting of twenty-three 5.7 MW wind turbines the wind farm will be able to produce energy 478,000 Peruvian homes.
Oretrans has a key position within this project transporting the 83m long N163 blades, the largest in Latin America, with the first Blade Lifter Cometto BladeMax1000 on the world market.
With a 8×4 tractor pulling, the newly delivered BladeMAX1000 is assembled on 12 Cometto modular axle lines enabling the XXL wind blades to be transported over obstacles and hills on the narrow and winding routes in Peru.
Raising the blade up to 60° enables the transporter to negotiate even the tightest corners on the route to the sites. During the transport stability and all safety-relevant information constantly monitored by the BladeMAX1000 patented control system.
