Test Train Transported by Allelys from Melton Mowbray to Fife Heritage Railway
Allelys recently arranged transport of a Class 313 Test Train from Melton Mowbray to Fife Heritage Railway, on behalf of Network Rail.
Following several weeks of planning, the train was delivered to Leven last week split over 3 loads.
Thanks to Jamie Woodland, Commercial Manager at Allelys, Jim, and all of the Allelys drivers for their help with this project.
When in service, the train was used to support testing and validation for rail projects, as well as deployment of digital signalling.
It will now be displayed to visitors at Fife Heritage Railwayrceand kept in its original yellow livery.
