Ter Linden Selects the Nooteboom Manoovr semi lowloader
The Ter Linden Transport company from Doetinchem (NL) specialises in the transport of wind farm components throughout Europe. The company transports more than 200 wind turbines every year with their extensive, modern fleet, which includes the MWT Mega Wind Turbine Transporter covered by HeavyLiftNews in February.
To transport tower parts and nacelles, Ter Lindenhave now also chosen the Nooteboom Manoovr semi lowloader. This latest investment concerns four units MPL-114-07 (V), which have been delivered to Ter Linden in recent weeks. Because of the low loading floor, these 7-axle telescopic trailers are mainly used for the transport of nacelles and tower parts. Also the high payload capacity due to the shuttle axles (12 tonnes per axis line), the excellent manoeuvrability by the hydraulic steering and the 500mm altitude in the suspension have been decisive in the choice for the Nooteboom Manoovr semi low loaders. To respond to future developments, these semi-low loaders are already being prepared for expansion with a Multi dolly.
