Temporary Water Pipe Bridge installed by Emerson Crane Hire in Oxford
Emerson Crane Hire is proud to showcase their recent work at Osney Bridge on Botley Road in Oxford!
Their team tackled the installation of a temporary pipe bridge as part of a comprehensive three-stage infrastructure update. This project is a testament to the importance of teamwork and precision when lifting!
For the heavy lifting, they deployed their powerful Liebherr LTM1200 5.1. This 200t crane managed this job with ease. This incredible machine is designed for precision and reliability, perfectly suited for projects where safety and efficiency are non-negotiable.
With the additional use of a spreader beam, the weight of this steel structure could be evenly distributed so that the team could move the pipe bridge into place safely.
Their crane helped ensure that the bridge was not completely closed during this installation and therfore maintain the water supply to over 22,500 people and also lessen the disruption to local residents and businesses.
Emerson Crane Hire is always happy to be involved in major infrastructure projects like this and be able to partner with Morrison Water Services Limited for Thames Water.
