Temporary Bridge Installed in Oldenburg by Wagenborg
Over the weekend of 7 and 8 March Wagenborg installed a temporary prefabricated bridge over a canal in Oldenburg, Germany.
The bridge, measuring 40 meters in length and weighing 210 tonnes, is placed as a temporary bridge during the replacement of the existing Cäcilien bridge. The temporary bridge was positioned successfully by means of the 300 tonnes floating crane ‘Triton’. This new bridge enables pedestrians and bicycles to cross the canal.
Due to thorough preparation, the project was executed as planned without delay.
