Stoddart Crane Hire Sets Sail to the Isles Again

Stoddart Crane Hire Ltd has been setting sail again, this time working on the isle of Islay on the west coast of Scotland with their Liebherr LTM1090-4.2.

Stoddart were appointed to undertake the lifting operations for their valued client under contract to install three transformers along with organising transport to site.

With the challenging task of getting the crane down to the required axle weights they utilised their impressive 90t Liebherr which is easily reduced to 40t overall. Then, using their haulage division, they delivered the crane’s components that had to be removed to achieve the axle weight recommendation.

This has been a fantastic project to be involved in.
