Stoddart Crane Hire Adds a new Liebherr LTM1090-4.2 to their Fleet

A maximum tip height of just under 80m with the 9.5m to 16m bi-fold swingaway extension

Stoddart Crane Hire are pleased to announce that they have taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM1090-4.2 All Terrain crane.

The four axle LTM 1090-4.2 features a 60m main boom, plus a 9.5m to 16m bi-fold swingaway extension with manual offset to offer a maximum tip height of just under 80m. Other features include Liebherr’s VarioBase variable outrigger set up and remote control system and boom head camera system. It is also able to travel with up to 22.5t of counterweight and its swingaway extension within 16t the axle loads permitted in the UK.

This crane is an economical all-rounder with high lifting capacities – so powerful that it exceeds every other 4-axle crane on the market. And in terms of flexibility it is the clear winner with VarioBase and VarioBallast meaning the crane is extremely flexible. Uniformly distributed axle loads of 10t has made this crane unique on the market for Stoddart, reducing axle weights for the regular travel to the Scottish islands making sure their customers get the best machine for their projects.

The crane has been added to their growing fleet of now 13 cranes to meet their clients needs.
