Steam Generators Transported by Scales SAS in EDF Power Plant Project

Scales SAS are proud to have been part of the EDF project to install 3 new steam generators as part of the 4th ten-yearly inspection of production unit no. 3 of the EDF Cruas-Meysse power plant located in the heart of the French Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

This major project mobilized more than 1,000 people from EDF and GMES companies led by Framatome in 3×8 shifts for 122 days. The collaboration and commitment of all stakeholders made this XXL project a success.

After three decades in the service of transport and heavy handling in the nuclear field, SCALES continues constantly renewing investments in state-of-the-art equipment as well as in the training and skills development of its teams.
