
SMIT extends Mammoet partnership

Mammoet has signed a framework agreement with Dutch manufacturer Royal SMIT Transformers, extending their partnership for a further five years.
From Royal SMIT’s factory in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, Mammoet handles the transport of the transformers to the quay for onward transportation to customers worldwide.
Mammoet has been responsible for the local transportation of Royal SMIT’s large and specialised transformers since 1927. According to Niek Vehreschild, manager strategic procurement at Royal SMIT, the five-year framework agreement solidifies the relationship between the two companies as the manufacturer plans for further growth.
