Skylift 3 Arrives in Liverpool

Ravestein’s floating crane Skylift 3 (400t) has arrived and is preparing for its first job. The Skylift 3 will be installing lock gates in the Gladstone lock in Liverpool. The lock gates have been constructed by Ravestein and were transported as cargo on the crane barge.
The crane barge was towed from the Ravestein yard in Deest, the Netherlands, via Rotterdam to Liverpol by Herman Sr. BV’s Damen Shoalbuster tug Siskin.
The tug and tow sailed from the Port of Rotterdam at 16.22 on Friday 3 February and arrived in Liverpool at midday yesterday, 8 February.
