Shell Shares Mammoet Milestone
This year marks the 10 year anniversary of Mammoet’s partnership with Shell at their Scotford Complex in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The milestone also celebrates 10 years of Lost Time Incident (LTI) free.
The Shell Scotford Complex consists of a bitumen upgrader, oil refinery, chemicals plant and a carbon capture and storage (CCS) facility. Over the 10 year relationship Mammoet has used its expertise as an industry leader to deliver crane related services for maintenance, turnarounds and projects for the facility.
“As safety is the top priority here at Mammoet, we are continuously looking for ways to improve the safety of our operations,” said Gijs (Gus) Verdeijen “As a result of our strong, ongoing collaboration with Shell Scotford, we have been able to achieve such a milestone together. Thank you to Shell for the trust they have placed in us for the past 10 years and the hard work of all the teams involved in making every job safe and successful.”
