Schmidbauer Add New Liebherr LTR 1100 to Ingolstadt Fleet
The Schmidbauer fleet is continuously expanding and recently a Liebherr LTR 1100 telescopic crawler crane was added to their base in Ingolstadt.
Its device-specific advantages make it so valuable for Schmidbauer and its customers. The company is now using its new Liebherr LTR 1100 from its Ingolstadt site, the second largest city in Upper Bavaria after Munich, for operations throughout Germany. The telescopic crawler crane has a nominal output comparable to that of conventional lattice boom crawler cranes, but requires a much shorter set-up time and is therefore quickly ready for use. In addition, it can be easily transported and is extremely flexible. It is primarily intended for pre-fab assembly, steel construction and wind power.
The LTR 1100 was also used for the first time at Liebherr in Ehingen. On behalf of the customer Lochner Stahlbaumontagen GmbH, he supported the team in building a new Liebherr repair shop. The first construction phase was carried out with the 130-ton LTM 1130 truck-mounted crane. With the new LTR 1100, the second construction phase could be carried out much faster and carried out much more flexibly.
“With the telescopic crawler crane, we can provide customers with a smaller and therefore cheaper crane variant that can be used quickly and easily transported to all construction sites throughout Germany,” explains Christian Schlagbauer, head of the Ingolstadt branch Moving loads with the LTR 1100 increases the assembly speed and thus saves time and money for our customers. ”
With its load capacity of up to 100 tons and a maximum lifting height of 83 meters, the crane is ideally suited for many different challenges. The LTR 1100 from the Schmidbauer vehicle portfolio also offers flat floor chains, a 2.9 m special folding jib, a second hoist and a boom camera as equipment.
