Scales Delivers Transformer in Brittany

The French heavy lift transport company Scales is based in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, 30km northeast of central Paris.

In December last yearthey carried out the transfer of a heavy transfomer at an electricity sub-station in Brittany, Northern France involving a wide range of their equipment fleet and teams’ skills.

The relevant combination for a proper and sound execution ensured a safe delivery to the final site access, despite the numerous difficulties either on the road, or due to the lack of a suitable road surface on the route.
