Sarens Transport Airbus A321 (without wings) from Tashkent

In support of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sarens proudly provided equipment for a loading project at the airport in Tashkent.

Working over four days in May of 2024, their equipment was used to load an A321 Airbus aircraft. For this operation Sarens delivered a Shacman truck and Faymonville 4-axle trailer for the transport.

In planning the operation, Sarens determined the transport route and necessary obstacle removal. Difficulties arose in selecting the best transportation route through the city. Finally, two routes with the fewest obstacles (including bridges, overpasses, cables, power lines, banners, and signs) were chosen.

The loading was then carried out by the client’s personnel. During fuselage lifting, the exact weight, 15,7t, was determined. Calculations for axle loads were also conducted. The final height of the transport vehicle was 5,85m and the diameter 4,6m, while the total length of the convoy measured 42m.

The transportation of the aircraft’s wings will be performed in the future, and Sarens looks forward to this phase of the operation.
