RollDock accomplishes unique shipment

RollDock completed a first Roll-On / Roll-Off transhipment in China, in close cooperation with its local representative Central Oceans.

After months of preparation, calculations and two typhoons finally the moment was there; the cargo – a high and heavy Waste Heat Recovery Unit – was rolled onto a barge and transported to the transhipment port nearby Shanghai. Once arrived, the unit was rolled from the barge into the hold of the RollDock Star and ready to sail to its final destination in Saudi Arabia.
