Pacific Osprey Boom Arrives in Esbjerg – Gallery

As reported here on this website on 24 January, the Hamburg registered SAL vessel, Wiebke, was given the task of transporting the new boom for the Swire Blue Ocean heavy lift vessel Pacific Osprey from China to Esbjerg.

The shipping arrangements were set up by Blue Water Shipping under contract to Swire Blue Ocean.

The boom has arrived! Over the weekend of 22/23 February the Wiebke arrived in Esbjerg, and we can now publish some stunning drone photographs of the boom on board and being discharged.

Swire Blue Ocean told HeavyLiftNews.com yesterday the boom…” is still being prepared for installation, and the installation should start soon.”
