Osprey Makes Multi Million Pound Investment with Four Scheuerle 4 Axle Units and Z390 PPU’s

Osprey has made a multi-million-pound order with Scheuerle comprising of four 4 axle trailers powered by Scheuerle’s most powerful PPU, the Z390. The order is evidence of Osprey’s confidence in the future of Britain’s renewables’ sector and infrastructure plans.

Collectively the SMPT units will be capable of moving multi thousand tonne loads with millimetre precision. The additional capacity this investment brings, further enhances Osprey’s ability to deliver super-scale projects for clients such as Hinkley Point C and Network Rail.

Neil Hopkins, Commercial Director at Osprey, “We are delighted to invest in our SPMT fleet. The manoeuvrability of the smaller 4-axle units complements our existing fleet and provides wider configuration options. The additional capacity this investment brings, further enhances our ability to deliver super-scale projects that are entirely engineered and executed in-house.

The new Z390 PPU’s will fitted with solid rubber tyres helping to reduce downtown, and using AdBlu, helping Osprey’s collective Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) agenda, by measurably reducing engine emissions.
