Orion Arrives at Arcadis Ost 1 OWF

After loading XL foundations in the Port of Roenne on the Danish Bornholm island DEME’s new 5000t lift DP3 Installation Vessel, Orion, sailed at 19.00 on Saturday 4th June bound for her first project, installing XL monopile foundations at Arcadis Ost 1 offshore wind farm being developed by Parkwind Ost GmbH.

Sailing at up to 13kts, Orion reached the windfarm site, located 17km North East of the German island of Rügen, just before midnight on Saturday.
