Date 20 September 2018
With a 61m maximum jib length Terex’s new CTL 272-18 luffing jib tower crane boasts a 10% increase in jib length over its predecessor. A further 10% temporary increase lifting capacity is available under controlled conditions, with reduced dynamics for example, with the crane’s Terex Power Plus unique feature.
Maintenance and access to power panels and winches are all conveniently located at the cabin level. A service derrick with 1.25t lift assists maintenance when needed.
The new CTL 272-18 luffing jib tower crane can be equipped with several advanced options to give more flexibility to the owner for crane configuration. It is ready-equipped for the installation and set-up of zoning and anti-collision system and cameras. The crane is compatible for the next generation of Terex tower telematics, which reports machine operation and service data back to the office.
