Sarens is proud to announce the opening of its new crane depot in Russia. This new depot is located in Tyumen, 300kms east of , an important service center for the gas and oil industries in Russia, 300kms East of Yekaterinburg, and 2,000kms East of Moscow.

Due to its advantageous location at the crossing of the motor, rail, water, and air ways and its moderate climate Tyumen has been an ideal base town for servicing the oil and gas industry of the West Siberia. As a result, today Tyumen is the center of industry, science, culture, education and medicine. Many large oil and gas companies have their representative offices in Tyumen.

The new facility will serve as a crane depot and offer a host of other services. The equipment available on site will include rough terrain cranes ranging in capacity from 60-80T. Because the majority of Oil and Gas projects over the next several years are taking place in Tyumen, this depot is ideally positioned to serve them. Initially the depot will supply small cranes on rental basis and in the coming years the depot will be serving state company tenders.

The Group is pleased to be opening this new depot, and to be building on the Sarens tradition of carefully listening to clients and proposing the safest, most creative, and technically optimised solutions backed by global expertise.
