New Polcevera Bridge in Genova Gets a lift from Fagioli

Fagioli strand jacking system lifted a bridge section which will be part of the new Polcevera bridge in Genova.

The lifting operations started on the 12th of February and were completed on the early afternoon of the following day. The section, weighing 2,000 ton, was lifted at a height of 40 m and it will connected to the piles no. 8 and 9 of the new bridge. 500 m out of 1,067 m of the new bridge have been completed.
