Monopile Transportation and Installation Concept Design from Collaboration Between TWD and Maersk Offshore Wind

TWD and Maersk Offshore Wind (MOW) have joined forces to design a new Monopile Transportation and Installation Concept (MP T&I). This innovative design introduces an efficient feedering method, fit for the Maersk Wind Installation Vessel (WIV), which is currently under construction. The method will enhance operability and ensure safe and efficient MP installations.​

Lys Rhilinger, Head of Tendering Maersk Offshore Wind said, “TWD’s practical and innovative method engineering helped us to enable MP T&I for the WIV. With this new concept, MOW is now open for dialogue with Developers and EPC Contractors for providing the installation spread.“
