The New Liebherr LR 1600/2 Crawler Crane
ML Crane Group is pleased to announce the purchase and commissioning of a new Liebherr LR 1600/2 crawler crane.
The new 660 U.S. ton unit becomes the 28th Liebherr crane in ML Crane Group’s expansive eet. It will serve customers in the wind, construction, power, and petrochemical markets. The new crawler is part of Liebherr’s tried and true LR series of construction cranes.
The LR1600/2 crawler crane provides outstanding load capacities, variable boom and derrick systems as well as enhanced component dimensions for low cost transport. Equipped with the SL8F3 boom system, the crane is ideally equipped to erect and service wind towers with hub heights up to 105m, and ground-bearing pressure is kept to a minimum with wide 2.0-meter track pads.
