Meriaura Loads Two Liebherr Mobile Harbour Cranes in Rostock

A couple of weeks ago in Rostock, Finnish Shipping Company Meriaura based in Turku, had the honour of loading not one, but two Liebherr mobile harbour cranes on to their vessel, MV Aura, each bound for a new home at different ports.

After a smooth journey, these impressive machines have now safely arrived at their destination one in Aalborg, Denmark, and and the second in Huelva, Spain.

The new crane in Aalborg will primarily be used for handling project cargo such as offshore wind energy components but also dry bulk goods and containers.

Their new crane offers the capacities: 144t (hook), 19/25 m3 (stone/grain Nemag grab), and 54m of outreach (Bromma EH170U container spreader). Aalborg’s LHM 550’s minimum/maximum radius lifting heights are 51/31m.
