MAXIKraft’s New LTM1750-9.1 from Liebherr Delivered Directly to First Project – Video

The latest member to join the MAXIKraft family is a powerful 750t crane from Liebherr. The LTM1750-9.1 recently rolled into the heart of Chemnitz directly from the Liebherr factory in Ehingen. There it was to start directly on its first assignment on the construction site of a prominent residential and commercial building, the Johanniskarree. This first assignment was the removal of Nagel Group’s tower crane as the structure of the new building was complete.

However, the new 750t Liebherr had to be assembled first. Colleagues from local MAXIKraft group member, Kranlogistik Chemnitz, were on hand with a 120t Grove crane to prepare the 9 axel Liebherr.  Two mechanics from Liebherr were also there to assist the MAXIKraft team with the latest technology.

“It’s a bit like unpacking and configuring your new mobile phone for the first time,” says Liebherr mechanic Philipp W. But that was not all, as the new crane was also equipped with a 70m luffing jib required to dismantle the huge construction site tower crane.
