Mammoet’s team in Belgium was able to assist Anglo Belgian Corporation with the transport of two engines, each weighing 110t.
Due to the limited space on the site and the length of the truck combination, every millimetre of space had to be put to good use.
In the end, the engines were transported by road from Ghent to Antwerp at night, in order to minimize traffic nuisance.
On the other side of the world, Australia’s biggest wind turbine has been installed at what is set to be the largest wind farm in the state of New South Wales.
The landmark 396MW Rye Park Wind Farm project recently saw its first turbine assembled with the help of Mammoet’s team in Australia! Mammoet’s gleaming specialized equipment continues to work hard during the offloading, pre-assembly and main erection activities of all 66 turbines across this vast site.
The entire Mammoet team is proud to be working on this journey of delivering sustainable energy to Australia, while reducing global carbon footprint, one step at a time.
