Mammoet moves in Malaysia
May 1 – Mammoet has moved its Malaysian operations base to Tanjung Langsat in Johar Bahru.
While operations have been based in Nilai, near Kuala Lumpur, for the past 20 years, the new office and yard are now located within the Tanjung Langsat port area, which Mammoet says provides greater access to water transport.
Mammoet’s managing director of the Asia Pacific region, John Halfweeg, said the strategic move would place the company in a better position to serve its customers in the region. ??”The move was essential to ensuring we can mobilise our equipment as quickly as possible for our customers,” he said. “The new location in Tanjung Langsat enables us to do this. Being closer to the water improves our connection to our customers.”
