Mammoet Moves 1500t Reactor in Lithuania – Video

Mammoet has successfully and safely completed a local record-breaking transport in Lithuania of a 1500t reactor over 145km for 15 days for the Lithuanian company ORLEN Lietuva.

The transport required the use of a total of 44 axel lines of Goldhofer PST trailers, 100m long, roughly the length of a football pitch.

In order not to disrupt traffic and communities the reactor was moved mostly at night adding an extra layer of complexity to this project.

This massive reactor has now reached its final destination where it will soon be installed.

Mažeikiai oil refinery, the only crude oil refinery in the Baltic States, is owned by Orlen Lietuva, a subsidiary of the Polish PKN Orlen.

The reactor for new Residue Conversion Unit was constructed in Italy by the ATB Group.
