Mammoet Move the Dieseko GIANT 2000 Upending Vibratory Hammer to Load Test Site – Gallery
Dieseko’s GIANT 2000 Upending Vibratory Hammer, the world’s largest offshore vibratory hammer ever recently left De Meyer NV for its final load test assisted by Mammoet’s SPMTs.
This vibrating block will be used in the future to install large foundation piles for offshore wind turbines safely and quietly. This is an important next step in contributing to a sustainable future. After 12 months of construction, the vibrating block was ready to leave the factory and was safely transported to its next location on 10 axel lines of Mammoet’s SPMTs.

This GIANT 2000 is the result of Dieseko’s sustainable ambitions and will enable Dieseko Group to execute further its strategy to install or decommission XXL-monopiles for wind turbines in a fast, safe and more silent way.

With dimensions of approximately 10m x 10m x 10m and a weight of 425t, this is the biggest vibratory hammer in the world. The four double gearboxes provide 2000kgm Eccentric Moment and 44,000kN of centrifugal force per up-and-down movement at a frequency of 23 times per second.
