Mammoet is proud to announce it has finalized an agreement to acquire heavy lifting, installation and assembly specialists, MEYER Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG (MEYER).
The acquisition strengthens Mammoet’s position in the heavy installation market and their presence in south-west Germany. Mammoet was approached with the opportunity to acquire MEYER following a successful, five-year working relationship built on a shared commitment to quality and safety. With over 40 years’ experience in the south-west of Germany, MEYER brings a wealth of local market knowledge and additional heavy installation expertise.
Jens Krawczynski, Managing Director of Mammoet Germany, explains: “In the past, Mammoet’s innovative thinking and global reach, combined with MEYER’s installation expertise and local presence, has delivered highly effective synergies for installation projects across the region. This acquisition extends our strong working relationship.”
Eberhard Jung, former Managing Director of Meyer comments: “Having worked together successfully for over five years, we know that Mammoet is the right company to expand our business. Our two companies share a similar regional approach and culture. Mammoet’s reputation for innovation and excellence is an indication that, under its leadership, MEYER will be able to enhance its value proposition.”
