Lubbers Transporting Loaded Prysmian Cable Drums to Luxembourg Returning Empty Drums to Delft on CREOS Project

Lubbers Projects and Services is proud to be transporting Prysmian cables for the CREOS S.A. project, handling the transportation of massive cable drums from Prysmian’s factory in Delft, Netherlands to the project site in Luxembourg.

So far, we’ve successfully delivered 45 drums to Luxembourg and returned 18 empty drums back to the factory in Delft. In the coming months, we will transport an additional 36 drums to Luxembourg, with empty drums being returned to Delft.

The drums we’ve transported so far vary in size, with the largest measuring 4.2m in diameter, 3.5m in length and weighing 15t. The upcoming drums are even larger, measuring 4.2m in diameter, 4.6m in length and weighing 21t!

To ensure the safe and efficient transportation of these drums, we developed two specialized systems in collaboration with TVAtec from Lemelerveld. Additionally, we are grateful for the support of our transport partners, Lubbers Road Transport, Dekker transport Rijssen BV and De Groen Transport B.V.
