LiftWerx starts main bearing exchange campaign in Texas
LiftWerx has started the first activities for a large campaign for a client in Texas, USA. The major component exchange expert will be performing main bearing exchanges on General Electric wind turbines.
LiftWerx will be using their GenHookTM and RotorHookTM up-tower crane technology. The crane and equipment have been fabricated in the Netherlands and have already been sucessfully used on Siemens wind turbines. The equipment used for this campaign has been fully adapted for the GE wind turbines. These services are offered on every GE model between GE1.5S and GE1.85 MW.
Liftwerx mentions on LinkedIn: “We are very proud of our entire team who made this happen. This team, comprised of a motivated and dynamic group of engineers and technicians, is continuing to raise the bar every day across North America and Europe.”
The first part of the campaign is directed at 8 GE 1.X models. Within the next few months, these services will be expanded on all General Electric 2.X models, from GE2.0 to GE2.8.
