The LR 1160.1 unplugged is one of the world’s first battery-powered crawler cranes. It is driven by an electric engine. During operation the crane can be connected to a conventional electric supply or without a cable, therefore “unplugged”. The capacity of the battery is designed for 4 hours lifting operation. There are no compromises regarding performance or availability when compared with the diesel version LR 1160.1.
