LHM550 Assembled in Whyalla by Max

MAX Cranes supplied the cranes and rigging services for Qube at Whyalla wharf to assemble the LHM550 mobile harbour crane recently.

The South Australian lifting specialist used their Liebherrr LTM1400 (400t) mobile crane with superlift and 100t of counterweight and the GMK5180 (180t) mobile crane with 63t of counterweight. Joint supervision, lift studies, rigging services and project management were also provided by MAX Cranes.

Qube, Liebherr and MAX Cranes worked closely together to deliver a safe and efficient assembly of the LHM550 wharf crane.
