LASO Transports 251 Wind Farm Components for the Pinta and Guindalera Wind Farm – Gallery

LASO is responsible for transporting 251 wind components, to build 23 wind towers. This operation began on the 26th of June and is due to end on the 3rd of August. The final destination of the wind components is Pinta and Guindalera Wind Farm.
The loading places vary depending on the wind components to be transported. For this project the transports started in Daimiel, Aranda de Duero and Santander in Spain.
Due to the complexity of the transport, it was necessary to provide pilot vehicles and have a police escort, and to ensure operational success, LASO had a team of 70 employees, which included drivers, pilots, project managers and engineers.
The transport of large and heavy loads need not only an adequate selection of equipment that will carry out the transport but also the team and operational management involved. This project was no exception.
