Laso and Faymonville moving the Wind Industry

As the number of wind farms constantly grows, so does the number of special transports with hubs, nacelles, tower sections and blades!

The Faymonville Group offers transport solutions for all these jobs. These solutions include the wind blade adapters with self-steering dollies. Such a combination increases agility compared to extendable vehicles. One of the busiest transport companies involved with these transport projects is LASO Transportes S.A. which has recently received three of these combinations.

Their debut project will take place in France, with Nordex NR74.5 rotor blades over 70m long. These blades are about to be transported over 100km from the port to the installation site.

The 1,700mm high stroke of the blade adapters enables the operator to lift the blade if needed and guide it over obstacles. A universal interface allows to pick up blades from different manufacturers in combination with a series of specialised accessories.
